IPod Touch (4g) cracked screen, PLEASE HELP!!?

I had an ipod touch 2g. I cracked my screen. It fell in my pool so i got a new one. On my new one, It fell throwing it across the bathroom hoping it would land on the floor. I hate my internship, I don't know what to do?

So far I have been in this internship for a month. It’s not my co-workers nor is it my boss. I like them and these people are really friendly and helpful. They are real relaxed and chill people. I’m not going to quit it, I’m going to stick it out but here’s my issue. I really feel like this is not what I want to do in the future. My boss told me the only reason I was offered this internship was because of all the applicants I had the most programming experience (I am a computer science minor and decided to get those classes out the way first before working on my major). I am a Math major, I hate programming. This internship which I did not find out until last week is a software engineering internship. Once again I hate programming. I thought it was a programming analyst position which I mention on my resume which was what I was looking for. After being slapped with that discovery, I started researching on the company to see if there are any possible jobs I could do (if I was offered a job) that does not include programming(which there isn’t), I rather analyze, work with people, and review, just hate writing code. Don’t get me wrong, I am good at programming received good greats in my C++ courses, I just hate the stressed and headache that comes with it. I’m scared that I will be offer a full time position as a software developer, because my boss and co-workers love me. I’m scared to turn it down, and in this recession, turning down a job offer is idiotic. I have no idea what to do. Any advice???

Marine Option or Army ROTC?

Okay so i was given a 4 year army rotc scholarship and i wasn't given anything from the marine corps. I really want to be a marine officer but unfortunately i cant afford to pay for college without rotc(but that's not the only reason im doing it ive always wanted to be an officer in the armed forces). It's a moot point to argue. They will not ask you why are you choosing logistics over finance. Have you had a job before? A logistics firm still has all the standard job positions as any other business - there is a finance department, marketing department, sales department etc as in any business. You applied for the management trainee program which means you might be groomed to take a management position in any of those fields. Just because people major in Finance doesn't mean they go off to become investment bankers or even bankers for that matter. If you are on the 2nd or 3rd round of interviews and it's going to be a panel interview, they are not going to ask you "Why" questions. It will most likely be a situational interview in which you would be expected to demonstrate the standard S-A-R format of answering so they can measure your ability to concisely apply your knowledge and experience in a real situation.

Recently ive heard that the only open fields and M.O.S's that are open are logistics, truckdriving, and something else I go to boot camp in September and hopefully leave in December, I believe that the fiscal year ends in november this will mean more jobs open right? so I think ill try to not sign any M.O.S contracts right now and stick with an open contract in the hopes that more infantry jobs open up by then. but what I am relly asking is if I sign an open contract and dont pick an M.O.S contract right now will I have any say in what I get out of boot camp?

Top fillings keep cracking?

2 weeks ago I got a couple fillings. 1 of which was on the top. I noticed about an hour or so after I left that some of the filling was on my tongue. A day later I was eating something sweet and noticed it hurt my tooth, which isn't right since I had just got it filled. The next week I go back to the dentist, tell him my tooth is bothering me, he looks at it and says its already cracked (filling cracked). They take the filling out and refill. They decide another tooth on the opposite side of top needs filled as well...so they fill it. I get home and my teeth hurt (both of them but the one they newly filled hurt worse)! There is a shooting pain when I eat cold stuff and I noticed, once again pieces of the filling in my mouth! Are they just doing a crappy job filling my top teeth? I didn't eat anything hard or sticky and I've had no problems with my bottom fillings! What gives?

Every time I squat to sit down, my knee crackles and then when I get up, it pops. I don't really mind the popping noise, but the crackling really makes me cringe. It sounds terrible. Fouling Fish tank Problems?

so I'm getting a 37 gallon + fish tank tommorow because my fish tank is becoming poluted, and slowly poisoning my fish.(i had to put them in a 10 gallon cuz my other fish tank cracked...i have 1 angel, 1 bolivian ram, 1 african featherfin catfish, african brown knife fish and a bristle nose pleco) i need to put them in the tank quickly cuz idk how much longer they can survive in there. so is there anyway for me to put the fish in the newly bought fish tank right away? the old tank is a 10 gallon fish tank with 2 filters a 10 gallon filter and a 25 gallon filter. can i thuroughly clean out the filter and use that in the new fish tank along with the new filter? because lately the fish tank is fouling up even with water changes, and with all those filters and causing alot of funky smells to come up. can i just use the 25 gallon filter on the 37 gallon tank with the new filter to get the cycle going and the fish established?

Asus battery / charging issue?

I have a fairly new asus laptop. I have a after market power supply. Last night while charging- it zapped me and shut my laptop down. When i plug my power supply in, it makes a cracking sound. After finishing ROTC, I heard that getting into infantry is hard because it is the most popular MOS, and only the top ROTC cadets get the MOS that they want. I hate my internship, I don't know what to do?

So far I have been in this internship for a month. It’s not my co-workers nor is it my boss. I like them and these people are really friendly and helpful. They are real relaxed and chill people. I’m not going to quit it, I’m going to stick it out but here’s my issue. I really feel like this is not what I want to do in the future. My boss told me the only reason I was offered this internship was because of all the applicants I had the most programming experience (I am a computer science minor and decided to get those classes out the way first before working on my major). I am a Math major, I hate programming. This internship which I did not find out until last week is a software engineering internship. Once again I hate programming. I thought it was a programming analyst position which I mention on my resume which was what I was looking for. After being slapped with that discovery, I started researching on the company to see if there are any possible jobs I could do (if I was offered a job) that does not include programming(which there isn’t), I rather analyze, work with people, and review, just hate writing code. Don’t get me wrong, I am good at programming received good greats in my C++ courses, I just hate the stressed and headache that comes with it. Can I go to MEPS for one service while in the DEP for another?

The deal is I was trying to join the Marine Corps for about a year and a half and they would not send me to MEPS to process my BUMED waiver because they had filled their quota of "qualified applicants" and didn't want to waste a spot on someone who needs a waiver. So finally I took my paperwork and went over to the Army and they processed me and got my waiver within the month and got me in the DEP a week later. Flash-forward two months and the Marines are calling me twice a day to get me to switch because they have had their poolees dropping out and being disqualified because of crimes and drug use. I want to join the Marines because it's a legacy for my family, but I don't want to leave Army DEP until I'm in the Marines DEP so they can't pull the whole give me a call back in a couple of weeks.

Training Squadrons (TRS) use to have nicknames at that time now I understand they were done away with. Mine had a TI who was former OSI and would play a lot of head games that offciers would get in OTS. Believe me there was a lot of head games. I thought we were called the Mickey Mouse Squadron for the tradition of Air Force military Intelligence that went back to the 6002th and 6004th squadron that existed in Korea in the 1950's and Early 60's I believe we had the same mascot as the 6004th sqd a mickey dress up like the hamburgler or like mad's magazine spy vs spy? I know we did have TI's from the sister squadron who test our dorm guards with a fake photo ID with mickey mouse on it. HaHaHa that was just one part of the head games fun. And all the screaming you would not believe even when we did follow the rules. I felt everyone who graduated from my basic training was well groom with Intel head games and most of us went into law enforment with the Air force and some of us who sign up after our frist term went to Bolling Afb for OSI training. If you explain that you went to CC for financial reasons then they may look more kindly on it. There is still the stereotype (somewhat justified if you've ever been in a CC class) that CC students are there because they weren't smart enough to get into a real college. The classes are going to be dumbed down and if your grades are high enough for a 4-year school then you'll probably be bored to tears. Obviously 4 years at a good school looks better than 2, but it's your choice.

I will like to get a degree in the supply chain and logistics field, and i live in Houston TX. The university of houston (tier one university, one of the three tier one universities in Texas) has a program in the field, but i am wondering if this is a good time to get a degree in the field, and should i go to a better school, or will be enough just to get good grades at the University of Houston to get a good job?

because you said it goes partially into your outer palm i think it could be a injury with your pinky. Has there been any swelling? It could be carpal tunnel but i cant really say you should probably go to a doctor and get it checked out for sure and they could tell you what to do you could probably get to a physical therapist or if it is carpal tunnel if it worsens you could end up having to get surgery so i would go to a doctor and have them tell you exactly what is wrong and tell you how to cure it. Help ! Itouch Wont Restore !?

I Have The 4g 8gb itouch in version 4.1 And I had Jail Breaked It A Few Monthes Ago . Apparently Today While I Was Babysitting One Of The Kids Pulled The Cable That My Itouch Was Charging From And Fell And The cracked The Screen . I Did The Just Plug And Press Restore But When It finished Downloading And Started the File It Said Network Error And To Check The Network Settings and to see if my betwork connection was alright. I checked the connection and it was fine but i dont know where the network settinga are and i think thats the problem. I also tried the press and hold the power button and the of and on button and shutting it completly down but the same thing happened. I Had My Itouch plugged in the whole time so i dont know what i did wrong . Amy suggestions on how i can fix this or any other way to restore the itouch ? I do not skip over applicants with foreign sounding names. I do however look at each candidate's resume and especially their cover letter to determine how good their writing skills are. Sometimes that means that more resumes from people with foreign-sounding names get discarded, but I promise you there's a lot of people with traditional names (who could quite possibly be native English speakers) who end up in the discard bin for inability to write well.

I'm looking for software to manage a database for job applications and recruitment. I was going to use a modified version of web help desk because I like it's features, but using webforms for applications did not play well with it. I like how WHD installs locally and is access via web. I would like features like sort/filter, web access, applicant profile page, attachments (for resumes and cover sheets) and the ability to design a web form for the applicant to fill out which can be submitted directly to the system to create a new application. Any help? It doesn't have to be free, but I would prefer it to be and I definitely don't want the cost to be recurring.

Whenever my friends discuss doing something, I tend to get straight to the point, the when, where, and how much. I've got two kids and my husband works a lot so these are important questions. Interview and working at Culver's?

A Culver's fast food location is opening soon and I already applied. They called me for an interview and I went. I believe it went very well. I spoke with one man and he asked me all of the basic interview questions. He even told me he liked me and I would be perfect to work the front end. He told me out of 300+ applicants that I was in the top 100 to be interviewed. Then he sent me to another man that talked to me about training and the opening date. He told me out of the 100 interviewed that 50-60 will be hired. He said training starts in a couple weeks and the opening date is August 1, 2011. He said he will "definitely give me a call in about a week" My interview was on saturday so I'm waiting for this weekend to come to see if they are going to hire me. Does it sound like they want me? If they do call me, will I have to have a 2nd interview? How was your interviewing experience there? I also want to know about other peoples experiences getting hired at Culver's and what they thought about Culvers? Pros and cons? Are they flexible with schedules? because I will be a full time college student by time they open. Do you recommend working there?
