I was caught shoplifting and had a misdemeanor arrest. What happens now?

Someone from the store will show up to court so don't worry about that. The charge won't disapear it'll just be a misdemeanor. You can't get any jail time for only $100. Most likely probation and a fine. And a record that you will have to put on any job application so good luck with that.
