Which would be best as a service pistol for my needs?

I'm starting a job with "Garda" Cash logistics armored cars and wondered what the consensus would be on what pistol to get. (I know, it's not a "service" pistol since I'm not a police officer.) The caliber size the smallest I'll go is .40 s&w. Holster wear is definitely a concern, and possibly weight. (I don't know, I've never open carried a gun all day & I'm a bigger guy that's 6" ft tall.) They won't allow a 1911 since some idiot had an accident with one; so please don't suggest it, even though they are great. Anyways, the pistols I currently have an eye on are: Sig Saur p226 elite, Glock 35, XDm in .40 or .45, or Beretta 92. I think I like the Sig 226 the best, but am not sure. If you have any other suggestions or advice, please let me know. Thanks for your input.
