How can I get involved in racing?

I am not talking about illegal racing, I mean something along the lines of being sponsored, I am 16, but scored perfect on the test, have been involved in a racing environment, but beside being able to race go kart with friends on private lots, have never really gotten experience, but I never have lost and know most of the logistics and am really good at keeping control. So is there any way I can find someone who can sponsor me to start racing? Or some sort of try-outs for some team. I don't have a lot of money unfortunately, so I need to know all costs so I can save for them.
